Agree people like to have a winge. Some just arent happy with their life or are confused. Some people learn while some never do.
Will a new political party make there existence any more pleasant? Depends what is driving them. If its pure financial gain that stokes the fire in their belly then perhaps.
But for most it is just a talking point to pass the time. Its like those christmas parties when the old road or tolls conversation comes up. Yes the roads will save you time. Its great. Yes the traffic is a pain in the arse. I get it. We have nothing in common and we find each other quite boring and uninteresting.

If he was, hopefully he learnt a very valuable experience about managing expectations and not over committing. You’d hate to think that he did it to other people as well.

If he wasn’t then he should hang his f**ken head in shame.

I could be wrong, but I believe that he had plenty of experience.

I think it is definitely true that the cold, callous and selfish ones last longer, partly because they have no shame. But if everyone judges all politicians in this manner, it will never change. A politician who actually does the right thing will be assumed to just like the rest, and so it goes on....

But, unfortunately, the good ones are few, and lack the power to change people's minds, imo.
