Just to let you know Gronk, caught the Metro from Rouse Hil Town Centre to Chatswood at 10.30am, waited 5 minutes, got on a perfectly automated metro to Chatswood ( smooth as ride ). Got off and the city trains are on the other side of the platform, perfect.

Return journey at 1.00pm, plenty of metro staff on platforms and walking through the carriages which are open from back to front, not that I expect that's the norm going forward. No issues, metro clean, functional, smooth and on time. Appeared happy commuters and travellers to Macquarie Uni etc. expect that the city light rail will be as good once complete.

Don't think you can pour vindictive on this action of a Liberal initiative, have a good day
Huh ? Since when have I been against these infrastructure initiatives? There is only one of us in this conversation that is a rusted-on one-eyed political lemming, and it's not me. I know good policy when I see it and am not afraid to hand out praise when warranted. Stick around, you might learn something.

Did people ride the train just for fun or they actualy had somewhere to go?

Did Suitman ride the new trian for fun?

If the answer is yes well gee us humans really are f**ked up units. What a life hey.

Sorry Suitman but people around the world are dyeing and this is how us westerners fill our time cause we have nothing better to do? I am just as bad I am not having a go at you personally.

I know right ? Modern rich AF westerners going on joy rides just because a new train opened. Wouldn’t do shit like that in the olden days.

Maybe I am out of touch. But a train ride on a sunday? Why not a picnic in the park
Yeah but there are no parks left in castle hill ... they destroyed them to put in train stations. So you have to catch a train to the park

Boom tish!!

FFS leave merkins alone. It was opening day of a $9b train line, with the first driverless trains, stations with no gap platforms etc. this is HUGE for the northwest. Some girl on the news was interviewed and she said that it shaved an hour of her journey to work. Game changer, merkin.
