What facts are there behind religion ? Because there are certainly facts from a science POV. Remember, a fact is proved to be true. Would a court after assessment of the evidence, deem any notion behind the existence of <insert your own belief> to be true ?

Probably true. But people buy science books to study them, they can place whatever level of trust in them that they are willing to bestow. If people are buying religious books when they already are convinced by them, then they’re hardly going to test any of the facts in them
