I don’t expect you to give a shit about my kids, just don’t f**king tell me I have no cause to be concerned for them.
He can't be that famous. I've never heard of him.Nobody came out in my year. I suspected one dude but I really liked him. He was cool and later joined some New York dance school. He is quite famous now.
You've never heard of the f**ker?? Maybe it's Jason Smith...He can't be that famous. I've never heard of him.
Just one per school (engaged from relevant non-profit org) to deliver a few (4?) sessions to the relevant age group each year tends to do the trick...We should have at least 12 relationship experts in every classroom. Its such an important role.
Sounds easy. You've really thought this through!Just one per school (engaged from relevant non-profit org) to deliver a few (4?) sessions to the relevant age group each year tends to do the trick...
And hopefully help the next generation be less racist, bigoted and narrow minded than our generations were (see Avenger's comment above re discrimination based on surname).
I lost count of how many came out in my year (post-school). About 10-15... which is around 10%.Nobody came out in my year. I suspected one dude but I really liked him. He was cool and later joined some New York dance school. He is quite famous now.
Nah, someone else thought it all through, and it's happening.Sounds easy. You've really thought this through!
I'm not racist mate or bigoted. I treat everyone equally, I really do. So do my kids. The difference between you and I is that I don't need to take up the fight for the minorities. They are doing well enough on their own with the help of people like you.Just one per school (engaged from relevant non-profit org) to deliver a few (4?) sessions to the relevant age group each year tends to do the trick...

I'm happy for them to be taught that there are differences and not discriminate against them. I just don't like them cancelling descriptors that relate to the majority of people. For example some schools are avoiding using mother/father. For eg:So what's your problem with what the kids learn in (government) schools exactly then, if as you say you're not bigoted about gay or trans people?
We had a couple of dudes that came out shortly after year 12. One was no surprise at all. The other just seemed like he was too shy to talk to girls.Nobody came out in my year. I suspected one dude but I really liked him. He was cool and later joined some New York dance school. He is quite famous now.
I am.You seem upset.
Agree. Same with the pronoun rubbish.I'm happy for them to learn about it and be taught that there are differences and not discriminate against them. I just don't like them cancelling descriptors that relate to the majority of people. For example some schools are avoiding using mother/father. For eg:

‘Mother’ and ‘father’ to be banned on forms as French schools go gender-neutral
The French parliament has voted to banish the words “mother” and “father” from official paperwork in the education system to tackle discrimination against gay parents.Children’s documents will instead refer to Parent 1 and Parent 2. The move has angered conservatives and Christians who argue thatwww.thetimes.co.uk
That's going too far.
Non-profit? I’m sure you’ll be able to find some that will pay the schools to come and do it!Just one per school (engaged from relevant non-profit org)
Some of the gender-neutral language makes sense in a modern world (e.g. ire fighter instead of fireman, chair of the board instead of chairman, etc), but some extreme suggestions I've read seem to be unnecessary.I'm happy for them to be taught that there are differences and not discriminate against them. I just don't like them cancelling descriptors that relate to the majority of people. For example some schools are avoiding using mother/father. For eg:
