I like Foxtel.
Especially when they're green.
I prefer the orange ones. Should I speed up? Should I slow down? Should I do a barrel roll off the back off the truck trailer in front of me?
The possibilities are endless!
I used to think the same.... Then I found I could watch all the other stuff Fox were "offering" (if I subscribed to a certain package) elsewhere for free.... Have never looked backFox still shits all over FTA TV. Sport, documentaries, all the other miscellaneous shit on Comedy/Fox 8/Showcase/Boxsets etc etc.
Never understood people who forked out for it just for the footy and then whinged about the cost....you know, the window washers half the LU Foxtel threads are filled with. No value in it if you watch one thing, I would have thought that would have been obvious.
I am glad someone said it.Fox still shits all over FTA TV. Sport, documentaries, all the other miscellaneous shit on Comedy/Fox 8/Showcase/Boxsets etc etc.

I have a fetch tv. Can buy GOT through them for couple of bucks an episode. I'm waiting to see what turnaround time is like but I know they've streamed other shows during season so I'm hoping it's next day. If that's the case, I'll go that route. Obviously not much help if you don't have or want fetch tv.I do illegally download on tv show - Game of Thrones. The only way to watch it in Australia is to have Foxtel.

But anyone out there looking for pvr with multiple viewing options (fta, catch-up, streaming services, some Foxtel packages) I highly recommend FetchTV.

I don't think the money is there for the NRL to retain it. Theyd struggle to leverage their own broadcast even with direct advertising and subscription revenue. NFL and MLB (they even do it for minor leagues) can do it because they are small economies unto themselves but NBA and I think EPL don't even do it. They may go away from Fox but then they'll still be relying on Nein to broadcast. Unless Forty wants to the rounds with his gear each week
