Thanks CSB.

Why did you chose them over others? Just doing some research as we speak.
Australian based. Their fees are low. They don't deal with criminals because you will see what you have to go through to open an account. Just a tip, link an account that is separate to everything else. A stand alone. Once you build up some money change it to bitcoin and transfer it to another wallet not associated with coinspot. Coinspot is still an escrow service so I wouldn't leave too much money there. If you don't want to change it to bitcoin, just cash out to AUD.

And make sure you get Google Authenticator app for dual verification everytjme you log into coinspot. Highly recommend. And use a strong password with numbers, symbols and upper and low case letters. That way hackers will have difficulty in using brute force techniques to hack your account.

Last year I could have purchased bitcoin for AU$500. I was thinking of getting 10 but I'm a moron didn't and still am kicking myself. Would have made about $25k.

A bloke from my office bought plenty in 2010, cashed out and bought a house near Byron. He is now retired. He will not disclose how much he bought but I suspect he made at least $1 million.

I think the drug testing of welfare recipients is going to result in people being taken off welfare and into the streets with the other homeless

Pathetic move just to save money on welfare.

Nobody loses money @Twizzle . If they can't be trusted to spend their welfare on essentials, then they will get a eftpos card that can only be used for groceries, rent etc.

"Dole recipients will be drug tested, forced to spend more time looking for work, and have their welfare cut after a “three-strike” demerit point system in a tough, new stance on welfare recipients unveiled in the Budget.

The Turnbull Government will also expand the controversial cashless debit card to new locations.

Thousands of new welfare recipients will be reeled into a random drug testing trial in three selected locations.

Those who fail the first test will be placed on the cashless welfare card and have their welfare quarantined from buying drugs or alcohol."

So should people on welfare be allowed to piss taxpayer's money away on drugs?

They can do what they want with it. Their lives are probably shit so no need to make them worse. I reckon it would be such a small amount it costs the country it isn't worth worrying about.

Id be more concerned about houses costing 800K +

Ok so what would it COST to drug test them and how would you monitor it? Test them every week?
Wasted money .

Just think that you are fortunate enough to be able to earn an income. I am kind of happy to pay a relative small part of my wage to live in a safer environment. Some people are just looking at it from the wrong angle. Greedy selfish people

Traditionally welfare (I'm talking about job seekers, not those on disability etc) was introduced as a leg up for those who are in between jobs.

Welfare is not a career. There are families that are generationally on welfare. I once employed a girl who was from a low income family demographic. She was with us for 3 years and had a boyfriend from high school. One day she announced that she was engaged. We bought her a cake and a bunch of flowers and she began to plan her wedding. Six months later she announced that she had to resign. She said that we were great to work for however she had no choice but to resign because if she was employed she and her soon-to-be husband stood little chance of getting public housing.

Welfare is a safety net. If any of you need it I am happy for my taxes to support you. Sorry, but it is not there for your good grace, should you elect to sit on your arse and not contribute to society.
