Good point Strider.
I don't think Bigfella did his sums on this analogy.

Playing Royal Pines today. First time since the recent renovations.
How big a f**king merkin is that kyrigos dipshit .... ffs what an imbecile
He was bitching about there being music played in the crowd ... apparently it was coming from the Big Bash at the MCG
He's a bit of a spoilt brat.
He actually reminds me of a young Lleyton Hewitt, except dumber...
what are you going in this part of the world ?
I have a Royal Pines golf shirt, wont it during a corporate golf day for longest drive, it was about 20mm away from the rough, arsey shot
San Fran is a great city.
It's a bit pricey in parts, but you could probably find a good deal somewhere.
I'd would say to head out to Lake Tahoe for a couple of days, but since you're going in September there wouldn't be as much to do there. Not hot enough to swim, not cold enough to ski. Still a beautiful spot though.
The road trip south would be a good one too. I'm not big on Tijuana, but San Diego is fun.
I haven't been up to Canada yet, so can't help you out with that one.
Going to the US with the family and 2 of my best mates and their families in September. We've got an itinerary pretty much sorted, we're west coasting it only. We've got a 3 night gap up our sleeves after Vegas. We were originally going to road trip it to San Fran from Vegas and then fly back to LA for the connection to Hawaii on the way home.... But now thinking might give San Fran a miss and either drive somewhere else, either driving or would fly somewhere else and then fly back to LA for the Hawaii hook up.
I was thinking about flying up to Vancouver for the few days. For a family of 4 tho it ends up adding about 2 grand in flights which seems a bit steep... But maybe we'll save in accommodation as I hear San Fran is pricey
Anyone got any suggestions? Maybe just road trip it south from Vegas to San Diego and head over the border to Tijuana?
We just got back from the US and can vouch for Hawaii - great destination. Whilst we spend 80% of our time in New York, we did spend 5 days in LA on the way home. Avoid. To me LA is a hole. Most of it reminds me of Hume Highway Liverpool with homeless merkins everywhere. Manly tacked on at the coast (Santa Monica, Venice) and Kings Cross at the other end (Hollywood), with the rich living in the hills (think Pymble, Warawee, Wahroonga). Nothing place, don't understand the hype.
What's Hawaii like gronk. Only taken the kids to Fiji a couple of times recently and considering other destinations over the next 12 months.
I keep hearing mixed reports about Hawaii.
My take on Hawaii (Waikaki anyway) is that it's like the Gold Coast only they've got it right.
