In a one off game, where the bounce of the ball goes our way, get all the right calls from the match officials, at full strength just maybe we maybe able to compete with the Storm. Have to be realistic thou, they are the benchmark and we are one of a few sides who may be able to go up against them in the GF. With the doubts over Nathan going forward it is the Storm against whoever is the fittest going into the finals.

On the other hand, the injury curse that has hit Penrith could still rear its ugly head south of the border and quickly even things out. Admittedly, they seem to handle such disruptions quite well.

Eh belting crap teams for 3 months means nothing. Like us (outside our games without our stars) they've seen zero resistance from a competent football team. Playing a team that can defend 4 sets and then roll down the field and put one back on you is just a different sport. They are definitely better at belting crap teams consistently which is cool.

Peaking at the right time is also key and not something we managed well last year. Assuming we go down in a tight one in Round 20, without Cleary, they'll probably roll into the GF with 23 wins on the trot and a phenomenal amount of pressure.

Dogs getting belted 36 to nil .got to feel for the supporters it’s one thing to be playing bad .but to also have 5 out due to covid breaches shows you they are a club tumbling

Imagine if we had Saab on the wing. That sort of true f**k off speed to take advantage of all the chances created by and the precision kicking of our halves would be amazing.

If Papalii is the buy of the year this bloke must be second. Dragons couldn't get him out of the place quick enough.

Barrett's position must be getting shaky now. I still have doubts that he will last the year, let alone his contract (two years?)

I wonder two things, 1. Burton's feelings on this, and 2. how long will Barrett have a job?
Barret will get till end of next year .He is looking at last place this year .But with the players coming and the cash still left to spend he will be expected to make the 8

Hard to believe that the Sharks are considering re-signing him.
Chad f**king Townsend was their halfback not long ago. Moylan on one leg for half a season looks like a great option when you consider that.

Teams are desperate for anyone who has shown even a tiny bit of potential in the halves no matter how long ago it was.
