Chad f**king Townsend was their halfback not long ago. Moylan on one leg for half a season looks like a great option when you consider that.

Teams are desperate for anyone who has shown even a tiny bit of potential in the halves no matter how long ago it was.
Problem with is he is on 800k and they just go beat by the last placed side.i watched the game he did nothing .He even run sideways for a inside pass not even taking the line on

If you resign Moylan it's as a squad player on minimum wage. You just can't have that much of your cap on the sidelines chronically. Newcastle with Ponga have a similar problem, though he at least contributes when on the field.

Ummm what player are you referring to?

If it's Moylan than ofcourse he did nothing. He was injured in warm up and didn't play. I didnt watch the game but read that on here.

Edit
You actually posted it. So which player? Townsend?

Couldn't sign him as a squad player and have him sulking like he did here. Would do nothing for any team's morale. Poor attitude to rehab and discipline.

I think it was reasonable for Townsend to not playing that well. He played for the Warriors on Friday and was probably still tired. Good on him for backing up though......

I know Townsend played for Warriors. But since Moylan didnt play this week and my post that he quoted mentioned Townsend aswell im not sure what other half he could be referring to.

Johnson or Trindall perhaps? I dunno. No half fits everything said

Townsend played but not for the sharks.johnson wore a jersey not sure if he actually got it dirty .All point are valid when referring to Johnson and being paid 800k

Your post quoting mine seemed to be referring to a player i mentioned. Using the term he rather than a name... so it made most sense you were referring to one of the players I mentioned.

Having not watched the game I had no idea how Johnson played. But stands to reason he's done trying now that he has a contract beyond this season

I thought Souths defence looked really flimsy. Admittedly they were without some of their best players, but if the Cowboys could have held onto the ball I think it would have been a lot closer.

4th isn't that bad either. You don't even try to win the first week against the Storm. Then you get team 5 or 8 in Sydney. If we can't beat them well we weren't winning anything anyway. Then Rabbitohs probably in the prelim, rather than Parra or Manly. All teams we have to beat to play the Storm in a decider. No week off, that's all.

Souths will give it a shake imo. Along with Pennies and Storm.
Manly are a dark horse but they can leak points.
Parra will hang rnd but don't have any real fire-power to push these top sides. The rest won't do a lot.

That's your top 4. Manly too reliant on one player which good sides will take care of. Souffs really need to tidy up their defence. They had a bit of help from above last night but they were up against a rabble. Both Parra and Souffs need a strong possession advantage to be dangerous.

Good win for the Eels coming up. 26-0 with 25 to go, they should go on with it. Haven’t watched it closely, cooking dinner, but the bits and pieces I have seen they seem impressive.
