The fight for the last two spots in the eight is interesting. Those competing have some tough games and some also play each other. The knights on paper may have the easiest run in so paper they have a great opportunity of locking down one of the spots.

Sometimes the old cliche, take each game as it comes has a lot of merit. It applies to all teams, not just us, who knows what injuries & suspensions could strike our rivals in the run home. The biggest issue for us is Nathan, he will return, but his shoulder is but one hit away from ending his season. I think we just need to do what we did against the Roosters, there were some positive signs and hope we get to the end of the regular season with no further long term injuries.

South’s are a far different proposition to the team we met in Dubbo.

They are on a roll, full of momentum, full strength and will be very tough opponents.

The Round 23 game probably not critical, given we will still have players out, but I would want to have our strongest lineup going into a finals game.
