Not sure who you've confused me with, but I can't think of a time OV has ever rubbed anything of mine. Quite the opposite, I've knocked heads with him as much as anyone.

BUt trying to draw some weak link between what's happening at the Broncos/Bennett with what's happening here with Mary is definitely laughable Minh. Bennett has runs on the board, has a mental burn following huge pre-season expectations to deal with and thus has a team out of form.

Mary has shown nothing to date that gives the slightest indication he has the tactical knowledge to be a successful coach, much less to build a team like he has claimed he is going to. He is failing. It goes much deeper than one off games. A lot of people here, on both sides of the argument, need to look at the big picture when it comes to how we play. Gloating after a win or loss means nothing, because the overall trend of the team is not encouraging. And blindly following whatever the club/coach says and does and assuming it's the right thing doesn't make a better fan than those of us who genuinely WANT better.

And despite all that we could possibly finish round 17 on equal wins with the Broncos. Interesting.

As the cool kids say...Bingo !

You did forget to mention the unlimited TPA's, the one town team etc, etc.

Broncos were absolute guff on Friday night. I was there and many of them look busted.

The Dogs can afford him and play him on the wing.
tbh this is the real reason we struggle to keep our heads above water.. clubs like Dogs & Sharks have 3 all class fullback options.. we have '1'.

So many times ive watched clubs pay top dollar for players at their peak, even if they get injured or dropped or just go through a long flat spot, those clubs just keep buying more talent.. at top dollar.. it stinks. Meanwhile we have to sign players at their lowest, and pray we can re-invent them.

Looking in the sheds at fulltime there were plenty of them in a distressed state especially Roberts who could hardly walk.I think injuries & tiredness are whats hurting them at the moment. I wish we were playing them next week.

Was Roberts injured? He just didn't look interested except for a few moments.
He struggled to get back in the defensive line after every tackle. He was head down and labouring.
A great 2nd half moment when Storm scored after a bounced ball played into a Storm player and the Broncos players (Roberts and 2 others) just stood and looked at each other for what seemed an eternity....priceless :)
I enjoyed the result and lack of the 'effin' horse doing laps. :)
Still...44519 was insane for a club game

Well if Norman is asking for 950k then on tonights performance it would be difficult to say he's not worth it.

He singlehandedly controlled that game once degois got injured and Robson went to dummy half.

Handled the ball multiple times every set and still left the defence geussing.

All four try assists.

I know it's only one game but he has been playing like this all season.

If we were talking about throwing the book at Cronk then I'd throw a bigger book at Norman!

Energy, smarts and silky skills.

The type of player we need.

They probably intend to have both Norman and Hayne and may be able to afford them both once they release Forrin ( to Roosters ? ) Besides our budget is just about gone with the signing of Ray Thompson.

Gee's he's a good player although there is something there that makes me dislike him.
Anyway should he sign on (not holding my breath) I'm sure he would grow on me lol

Anyway under Mary's coaching he'll soon go backwards because he's an attacking player not "D" player

Yes , he did have a great game . Had a hand in everything, and was oozing confidence.
The Parramatta defence was yet again outstanding , they really have worked hard on that aspect of their game this year . And they also have that will to win - if only the Dragons could have that same attitude , play hard for the entire 80 minutes and never say die !

1. Dugan
6. Widdop
7. Norman
9. Segeyaro

Norman and Segeyaro lived together when Segeyaro was at Penrith, So they were best friends. Meaning that together in the same team they'd have a lot of Cohesion and Chemistry together. Also, signing one of them could be an attraction towards getting the other one, that's wishful thinking though.

Segeyaro would come cheap because he's in the Super League at the moment.

Dreams are free.

If we are to sign a Halfback and Hooker.

- Release: Joel Thompson (400K), Mitch Rein (450K), Benji Marshall (500K), Dylan Farrell, Jake Marketo, Ben Creagh

400 + 450 + 500 + (550k approx. for Farrell, Marketo and Creagh) = 1900k

1900k - 500k (Tariq Sims) = 1400k

1400k - 950k (Norman) = 450k

450k + 200k (Cooper) = 650k

Sign Segeyaro with 650k

f**ked if that works or makes any sense... lol.
