in 2015 938k would be one of the highest rating games of the season.938k then for the Friday night fta/stv game. How's that compare to other rounds? Crowd was low so did more people in Brisbane watch on tv than usual?
Actually it more like 8 million.39k for a combined population of 7 million... yeah the tsunami has hit Sydney & Brisbane/Gold Coast
why not post a link to a tweet as nobody is going to scroll through all that to find whatever you're waffling on abouthttps://twitter.com/mediaweekaus?lang=en
Scroll down with last link to sunday NRL.

Does that mean the AFL's TV deal would be less as well, as they are on par with us in terms of ratings?
Why? Audience is less than 5% drop and sports content is still the biggest earners for tv channels. He isnplucking figures out of the air.
And on the digital investment, his argument is nrl contolled digital production will somehow fill a possible gap in 2023. How? How many subscribers and advertisers would nrltv have to get to cover the current fta or pay tv income? A lot more than exist I suspect.
Smith could see the risk and his answer was to put aside some of the games riches and put them into investment accounts so there was a big cushion available if things did go the wrong way. Sadly all that money has now been spent and the current nrl's answer is to spend even more on something that will in reality still have limited reach in 2023.
stop posting bullshit when you've already been shown you pull numbers out of your arseFox has been ok but.. has lost the 300k + games of mnf
Actually it more like 8 million.
Back to my post about Perth AFL TV figures being added to game that was not shown in PERTH>
Coming this Sunday 28th may the same con will happen

The above link is what Melbourne will watch, starting 3pm to 6pm Carlton v Melb

The above link is what Perth will watch, starting 2.30 to 5.30 West Coast v GWS
But they will be combined ratings for Sunday top 20 shows. If Perth was not included which I say it shouldn't, the AFL does not make the rating hit it does.
Chanel Nine which from next year will pay upwards of 125 million per year should lawyer up and change this blatant bias or take advantage of it. QUE

they only ever give the preliminary overnight figures which aren't the most accurateFortunately, Mediaweek tweets usually give enough info to piece together most of what footy fans will typically be interested in, which is the ratings and breakdown by game
they only ever give the preliminary overnight figures which aren't the most accurate
often the consolidated numbers are different and a tad higher
