Name a 21 year old No.6 better than Dylan.

Says a lot about the state of the game that I can't.

Doesn't mean Dillbags is going well in offence. He should be able to simply draw and pass, which he has stuffed on many occasions.

Hell on almost all the basics he keeps failing. Draw and pass, average. Taking the space on offer and committing the defence first before passing, terrible. Taking it to the line and wearing a hit, which is hard I agree and I don't expect him to do this just yet, almost non-existent. Making a clean break, sort of OK. Support play, ordinary. Long passing game, woeful. Short passing game, solid. Short kicking game good. Long kicking game terrible. Need I go on?

Just because he might be the best at his age, doesn't mean he is going well or will be great later on. Like I have said before, I wouldn't be throwing him under the bus just yet, his defense is way to good to do that, but at present I don't see to much to get excited about on the other side of the ball.

I am entitled to an opinion of him just like any other player. He will get better, sure maybe, but at the moment he is ordinary and we are all entitled to question his performances that at times have negatively affected our team. He wanted the big bucks, remember? So since he himself believed that he was entitled to a fat pay cheque, then we are also entitled to see him earning that cheque no matter what his age and no one could honestly say he has.

Big bucks means big expectations and delivering on those expectations. Hell even if we wanted to drop him now, we couldn't afford to have such a highly paid player in the lower grades. He and his manager did this by chasing the dollars at such an early age. Now he has to learn to live with it. Maybe less time in toilets and more time practicing footy skills instead.

Welcome to professional sport son. Earn what you demanded or get used to the critics till you do.

OR that I was right about over ambitious and perhaps unachievable expectations by some on a very young players.

Brad Fittler started this public focus on Dylan and his rant came from a brain fart of pro-roosters emotion. IMO he has made shallow ill informed comments blinded by saltiness.

“I think it will be interesting, Dylan Brown. Dylan Brown hasn't had a good season," Fittler said on The Sunday Footy Show.

He's had one try and one try assist the whole year. He's had that many cold drops that I haven't seen from anyone else in the competition.

"I don't think his head's right into the game at the moment. I think what he does the next three weeks, if he's out for three weeks, is going to be the making or breaking of Parramatta because I don't know if they can win unless someone else, there's another point of attack other than Mitchell [Moses] doing all the work.”

But with Dylan, that's going to be very, very important because he hasn't been doing much and this is most probably a wake-up call."

Hasn't J. Arthur already have one try assist and one try after just one game.

Enough said. Stop while you're behind mate.

Yep, he danced around that. And none of the panelists have asked how are you meant to tackle Teddy when he drops almost every time.

And Robbo still talking about the Marata tackle. Hello he dropped there too. Kinda wishing he really made contact with teddy, as he’s fast becoming a merkin

Which Dylan Brown are you watching??? Other than dumping the ball onto his outside man, taking it to the line is almost all he does. The problem is he is just “wearing the hit” (really he’s just preemptively deciding to run) rather than what he was doing in his debut and dropping the short ball to Lane.
Granted that short ball was becoming one note but he needs to go back to doing it at least occasionally. Or at least if he is going to engage the line, he needs to take another player with him.
He better find his juju at training in the next couple of weeks otherwise he could be in trouble

Didnt he say he loves the way Teddy goes right to the line before dropping, because it makes him the player he is, rather than doing it 2 metres out and not being effective

Can Marata and our legal team take this speech of his to the judiciary and get his suspension reversed??

He said he loves how he goes right to the line but didn’t mention the dropping part in that sentence.
