Rough weekend for me too, Manly really shit the bed. I had a punt on Broncos +6 too.

Fortunately I'll get some back on Freo in AFL

Melbourne and now Manly have completely wiped my sportsbet account... Last time I ever bet on NRL. The only way to make any cash on it is just pure luck.

Well if youre betting youre whole account on two bets it wont matter what sport you bet on, youll lose in the long run.

It was about $100, people on here bet much more than that on the same 2 games that I lost out on.

My account could have only had $20 in it... Your argument is invalid

First few weeks can be really hard to establish any consistency, not until round 4 or 5 you can get a grasp on teams form and how they are shaping up for the season. Plus the stupid refs random interpretations of rules don't really help. There's obviously some solid things like Storm at home, fading NZ and Canberra on the road.

Today's pretty iffy, would think Warriors are in for a thrashing but sooner or later they're gonna show some spine and -8.5 is an awful spread. -12 is too much for the Rabbits and not enough of a head start for Panthers. Dragons +4 looks appealing but who knows if Canberra will do a 180 and play like a top 4 side at home.

Jeebus. I put $50 on a Storm Souths multi thinking it wouldn't be in much trouble but both games went down to the f**king wire  Never again, I'd have a heart attack.

I would not put my worst enemy's money on the canberra game. I made good money on the sharks game today :). Easy work.

Most of the Aussie books do this, centrebet/sportingbet are the same company as WYD implied, then sportsbet and the other paddypower brands will only cater to rec bettors betting at most a few hundred a game, unless they are longterm losers. I have accounts on all but they are the last books I keep funded and use, I keep a little in sportsbet so the NBA streams work but mostly just use for tipping and the comps unless I have a flutter on races, which is rare.

They also have things in their rules/nospam46 about max daily payouts for individual sport. For instance say you laid a multi of +evens markets, like underdogs, 1-12's - 13+ and won 500k, the daily payout for league may only be 50k, so even though the betting slip will process the bet without any warning you won't get the payout calculated, even if the games in the multi are over several days, there's wording that the daily payout is based on when the last leg of the multi wins.

Sportsbet has a max daily payout of 10k on UFC - MMA, but will let you max bet a multi the slip calculates into 6/7 figures. It's dodgy as.

Good thing with TAB is you can go into a bricks and mortar, bet cash, cash a ticket on the spot, never being worried about only being able to bet $2-$10 because you had a good streak and won too much but the odds are crap. I'd rather not bet than use TAB.

If you're serious about online sportsbetting and mostly play single bets for ml's, spreads and totals, get a pinnacle account, no bonuses, promotions or anything, just the best lines/odds. No funny business or cracking the shits if you win too much. Their site isn't the most modern and parlay lines are juiced, site can go down in peak times for American sports but games are graded immediately and always correctly, there's never any reason to contact customer support aside verifying docs, they only absorb the fees on one withdrawal a month for bank transfers though. If you want to withdrawal often it will cost you like $35 a pop.

Cool, thanks for the info mate.

Another attempt to cash-in off my decent tipping record this year.

Manly, Storm, Sharks, Knights to win at $3.60.

That multi looks pretty good Apey. Hope it comes good. Bulldogs just killed my weekend parlay of tips.

Storm 13+/Over 36.5 is paying $5.00 on sportsbet, worth having a shot on imo.

Mine too. I've dropped 5 tips so far. Not the top tipper by any means but doing better than I usually do. Thought I'd try to use it to my advantage. Usually I only include games I have reasonable confidence about and leave games out I'm very 50/50 on such as Souths vs Bulldogs. Four results in a multi is probably a maximum for this amateur punter.

I only play multi's for small stakes, generally 10-14 teamers of a whole batch of picks. Kind of like sports lotto. I'll bet a pot of beer/sixpack to win a years supply or a Ferrari kind of thinking.

Even 2 team parlays will likely screw you in the long run, if you're parlaying 2 teams to get even money if you're a really sharp tipper and pick the right games you can probably do well. I'd rather pick out single leg bets there's good odds for a win or an easy line/total to cover if I'm going to bet something that makes the game nauseating to watch unless there's an early blowout in my favour.
