Aren't the RLIF supposed to run international league? Shouldn't they be organizing the player funding for tests or series?
They should but they are broke and most of the countries that play are poor

Doubt it.There is talk that origin is worth 35% of revenue
Lmao I posted on one of their twitter posts they are in breach of their contractual arrangementsI see the players didn’t cover up the NRL badge this week, and have instead wrote to the NRL sponsors asking for support.
My guess would be that the RLPA have been issues with a breach notice type letter explaining how the players could be fined/sanctioned for covering the logo and Telstra sponsorship.
What the imbeciles don’t realise, if they piss off the sponsors (by covering their name) and the broadcasters (by reducing/impacting their content), come contract renewal time, those same sponsors and broadcasters will be using the players actions at this time as a bargaining chip to reduce the price they pay, which will have a direct impact on potential future revenue and subsequent salary rises.
They are so short sighted.
How many times will PR watch that interview
Probably because on what has actually been agreed toWhy does PVL premise that the NRL are willing to meet as long as it's the existing mediator? That seems odd.
Did they get a 34 percent increase and other record conditionsWhy does PVL premise that the NRL are willing to meet as long as it's the existing mediator? That seems odd.
There's too many parallels with the ongoing SAG-AFTRA/WAG strike and the same tactics are being used by management.
Probably because on what has actually been agreed to
So we dont go back to the drawing board on these items again
And stay focused on what is left to agree on
Maybe the other issue is around Clint if he stays in the room. He can quote on the agreed specifics when Clint trues to change them
You've sat in the room for these negotiations?Did they get a 34 percent increase and other record conditions
the issues are minor Clint is just on a power trip
the big issues have all been sorted months ago
mountain out of a molehill
I’ve sat in a room reading the articles about it for a yearYou've sat in the room for these negotiations?
Nice strawman.Did they get a 34 percent increase and other record conditions
How’s it a Strawman ?Nice strawman.
The similarities are the attacks that production companies keep using against them - namely "actors are well paid, they're all millionaires" (despite vast majority, up to 86%, earning less than $26,000), "we are willing to meet" but they never do, "the actors and writers don't even know what the negotiations are about and being mislead by their union reps", "the strike is only damaging their ability to earn".
Compare this with the NRL and media response to the RLPA - "They've never earnt more", "we are willing to meet (but only with our conditions met", "the players don't even know what the negotiations are about", "not doing media work is only damaging their ability to earn more".
It's the same old playbook.
