I read Penitani was going somewhere else. If the Kiwi full back is leaving, we won't win a game.NRLW contract window opened yesterday. Brave Roosters will get first dibs and the rest of the teams will do theit best and sign from what's left.
Don't expect the all girls who became familiar in the blue and gold to go around again.
Hopefully we remain competitive. I saw somewhere last night that Cherrington was looking at signing 3 years, but we were losing the kiwi fullback.
Will we keep Tiana Penitani ?
We squeezed two seasons in back to back. The first season we had a gun blonde fullback who did an ACL ?I read Penitani was going somewhere else. If the Kiwi full back is leaving, we won't win a game.
Poor RickyDidn't Adam Elliott sign with Newcastle to be closer to her?
Bo Vette-WalshWe squeezed two seasons in back to back. The first season we had a gun blonde fullback who did an ACL ?
Then Gale Broughton NZ came in to replace her.
Maybe we have fullback No.1 coming back from the ACL ? I should pay more attention, but I don't.
That's her and I reckon she was better than GB. Hope we get her.Bo Vette-Walsh
So we have now lost our captain and both fullbacks. Ffs Oh Kneel!
Loyalty is dead in NRLW after what 2 seasons. So we have now lost our captain and both fullbacks. Ffs Oh Kneel!
SHARKS POISED TO POUNCE ON EEL
The Eels' NRLW team is in danger of losing star winger and co-captain Tiana Penitani to Cronulla.
The Sharks are one of the four new teams to enter the competition in July and are chasing Penitani, 27, with a vengeance.
The dual league and union international has already represented the Sharks in the NSWRL women's premiership.
However the problem is that the flying winger is under contract to the Eels for the coming season - and the club wants to keep her.
For Penitani, it's largely a case of geography - she lives near Cronulla and is tired of the many kilometres - and tollways - to Eels territory.
Parramatte is standing its ground, though, and unlikely to release the long-striding winger unless the club can strike a player swap with a suitable replacement from the Sharks.
It says she is under contract. Sounds like her manager is agitating for a release. Are we going to have a side?

Is NRLW recruitment a whole separate department at the club @Stagger eel ?Kennedy Cherrington has committed, and that's about it that we can see...
