So Norths have 4 wins under their belts now.

I thought both Lowe and Wynard were the better players out there. Verlinden was solid to. Norths forward won the game for my mind.

Gordon wasn't really performing, not until the last 10 minutes. missed two goals straight in front of the posts? WTF

Barnes is starting to find his feet in this grade as well as the line.

It was a really scrappy game, ref wasn't the best. Norths gave away some silly penalties, not the best game I have seen them play, silly errors from most of the players at some stage. but it was a win and that's what counts.

Norths the only side still un-defeated.

Jets lost to Vulcans 23 -22. Jets led by ten points for the majority of the game and at halftime. were till leading by ten with about twenty to go. Ex Jet Aidan KIRK scored the equaliser try and then with about 8 mins to go NZ kicked a field goal.

Jets played very ordinary though and were a mere a shadow of their prior performances thus far this season. They really had a day off, and should have scored several times and won this game convincingly though handling errors and missed opportunities at the NZ line allowed the NZ side to come back at them towards the end, and no one really stood up in the last twenty for the jets.

well done to NZ however the Jets made them look better than they were. Ex (year 2000) Jet KOOPU was ironically and painfully among the best for the Auckland side.

PS... To add salt to the wound ex Jet Aiden KIRK scored the equalising try against us too.

( KIRK scored a try for the jets in the 2006 g/final prior to being carried from the field injured for the g/final duration mid way thru the first half. The loss of him ( fullback ) in that Grand Final game, cost us the cup that year I recon ).

Oh Well. Bring on Manly and heath Le Strange.
