They need more muscle up front. Bailey and Ryles have it and are experienced and are both playing well. Ryles has his detractors but he has been great for Saints this year.

Mason was average in game one and awful tonight his last game at the Roosters (v Tigers) was awful as well. He seems to be struggling for form at present.

Fitzy I love to death but attack wise they could get more moving Bird to lock to accommodate Anasta at 5/8. Gallen and Lafrannchi offer defense but a bit more attack then Fitzy does but then again Fitzy kicks goals but if you don't score tries that's not too matter.

Kite is an extra frontrower they need even in game one when NSW had it all there own way QLD still managed to get some go forward. NSW had nothing tonight.

They need a proper 5/8 and Anasta has been doing week in week out for the Roosters even last week he tried his heart out but it was to no avail.

There the changes I'd make.

was going to suggest that but thought I would get howled down with calls of bias.

we have no decent wingers. we have two great fullbacks - one that the selectors insist can play half/hooker (he cant) and one that could easily play wing.

it makes sense and i said it before game 1 - but it wont happen.
