1. James Tedesco (Sydney Roosters)
2. Josh Addo-Carr (Melbourne Storm)
3. Latrell Mitchell (Sydney Roosters)
4. James Roberts (Brisbane Broncos)
5. Blake Ferguson (Sydney Roosters)
6. Luke Keary (Sydney Roosters)
7. James Maloney (Penrith Panthers)
8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard (Penrith Panthers)
9. Damien Cook (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
10. David Klemmer (Canterbury Bulldogs)
11. Boyd Cordner (c) (Sydney Roosters)
12. Tyson Frizell (St George Illawarra Dragons)
13. Jake Trbojevic (Manly Sea Eagles)
14. Tyrone Peachy (Penrith Panthers)
15. Paul Vaughn (St George Illawarra Dragons)
16. Wade Graham (Cronulla Sharks)
17. Jack De Belin (St George Illawarra Dragons)

I won't be surprised if that actually is the team. If it is, then I believe that they are going in one prop short.

I reckon it could be pretty close to the mark. Ferguson won’t surprise me mainly due to his experience, I’ll be shocked if Cleary isn’t there. I personally wouldn’t have cordner but he’s probably in the same boat as Ferguson re experience. Graham surely couldn’t be fit enough for origin especially with hammy problems.

Most surprised , as Mickylane has said if that is indeed the side . As Tedesco and Ferguson don't deserve a place and Luke Keary with James Maloney ? ? Imo they would had been better having Cleary partner him ( Maloney ) at least they know each other's plays .
Like the centre pairing , Roberts and Mitchell with Aldo Carr on the wing could cause a few headaches for the Maroons and for mine I would be starting with Vaughan and DeBelin , Klemmer simply has not shown enough this season to suggest that his inclusion in the squad will make a new man of him - put him and Trbojevic on the bench .

There is a story on Foxsports right now about Cordner and Greg Alexander's perspective on him. There is also a poll asking the readers who NSW should pick out of Cordner and Sims. Right now the poll is 62% picking Sims and 38% picking Cordner.

5 weeks ago I said that I would pick Sims ahead of Cordner, now many others are agreeing with me. I still expect Cordner to be picked and captain too.

I said after going to the Titans game that Sims was my smokey, I now believe he deserves a bench spot ahead of Graham & Jackson. Out with the old, in with the new.....

Cordner is only getting a look in because he’s with the Rorters.
If he was with the Knights, he’d be going thru a Maccas Drive thru on game night.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Peachy. He has been outstanding the last couple of weeks in particular and the Panthers did well with him in the halves while Cleary was on the sidelines. He can play in the halves, centre, lock, second row and hooker and has a reasonable short kicking game. If he performs well against us on the weekend i think he's a solid chance for a bench spot in origin depending on Freddies intended game plan.
