Plenty of the criticism after the GF and his origin performances was warranted, the fact is up until tonight he’s gone missing in big games. And most of it isn’t personal, it was criticism of his play.

And before you say I’m always negative, take a look at what I said after origin one, or what I said tonight either here or on Twitter.

I rate him in the top few halfbacks in the comp. Probably just behind Adam Reynolds. If he can have the career he has had will be a decent player.

Reynolds though is on $800k. Cleary $1.2m with that comes higher expectations. So on a discussion forum it is fair to discuss such things imo or what is the point of being on here

Only going by what was put in that top 100 player list. Very likely is out but either way is still a good solid FG less we can afford with the difference

I just don't rate halfbacks very high. If I was naming my top 10 players in the comp none are halfbacks..So I guess I best get used to being called a hater

Chance Nathan will get rubbed out for a shoulder charge. If they deem this to be worthy of a suspension I wouldn't even challenge it. Just let the NRL cut off its own head to spite its face with its ridiculous rules.

Yep. Most halfbacks are robotic. Just kick and run a good 5/8th and or Fullback are the ones that do the damage. The forwards setup the field position for a halfback to play from

Tedesco, Tom Turbo, Ponga, Taumololo. Morgan, Yeo. JFH, Haas, Hodgson and Brimson would be my top 10

I am sure others would be different but we all watch the game differently

Maybe unwarranted was a poor choice of word. I was more just meaning he had plenty of team mates in the GF and SOO 1 who didn’t perform at there best but Nathan seemed to cop the most of the blame for both losses.

It’s all past history now and he needs to step up again in the decider.
