Mateo hasnt done sh*t this year tbh, and hayne has been deadset ordinary aswell, the only two out of that five that you could say deserve it would be Bailey and Jennings

Hayne wasn't in that 5. But I'm close to certain Jennings and Bailey will make it. And Sutton at lock would be a good choice too.

I think the reason why everyone (including myself) has Gallen and Gidley in their side is because they are automatics for the selectors so there's no hope in any wishful thinking for any players we would want in the team.

But if I was the sole selector of NSW I would demand to have:

1 - Gidley Stewart only had 1 game but if he keeps playing like that he'll take this soon.
2 - Monaghan
3 - Jennings Mitch Aubusson can wait til next year
4 - Cooper
5 - Hayne in for Aubusson, Jennings to centre
6 - Anasta
7 - Wallace imo any combination of Anasta/Campese + Pearce/Wallace i'll be happy. Most will disagree.
8 - Weyman
9 - Ennis or Farah, either works. At this stage i'd still pick Ennis
10 - Bailey
11 - Fitzgibbon
12 - Watmough in for O'Donnell, completely forgot about him before.
13 - Sutton

14 - Lewis
15 - Kite in for Mark Minichiello, too many second rowers
