NSW Team 2014

I would prefer either Carney, Tyrone Roberts or Albert Kelly over Pearce. At least they all have SOMETHING going for them.

It is impossible to pick a team until some footy has been played of course.

Pearce gf winner
Carney = dally m winner with Pearce, has been without him
Tyrone Roberts = who?
Albert Kelly = regular reserve grader

As one of the toughest, gutsiest, most passionate players to ever be involved in soo you mean.

No. I was referring to his assistance in aiding QLD in extending their winning streak from 4 to 8. I'm certain about the fact that his tenure will largely be recalled by history, as a fail.

More like a dog-shot hero (sorry, coward/1 punch hero) this isn't passion, it's stupidity. Once Gallen is dropped from NSW and we put in a player with impact we'll see our state rise again.

We better not go with that joker from the Dragons again, Dugan. He's been nothing but trouble for our team too. In Origin one we had one of the best backlines we've been able to put together for a long time and there was no talk of over-drinking or guys being idiots. Bring in Dugan, Ferguson gets dropped and Nathan Merritt is brought in. Seriously this guy is the biggest idiot to play in the modern game, the less we see of Dugan and Gallen the more games we'll see NSW win.

Yes both players pushed each other and then Myles puts his hands down and looks to walk away, that is when Gallen throws a punch. If you don't think that was a dog shot then you are incredibly biased, seriously watch it again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGv61fayADA

It starts off with Gallen hitting Myles in the head with a swinging arm. Myles probably shouldn't have pushed him, he should have gone on with it but in the grand scheme of things a push is nothing and then Gallen has a brain explosion and dog shots Myles.

Please explain how it wasn't a coward punch?

Myles would laugh about the incident. He has eight consecutive Origin Series shields to reminisce about. Gallen only has sour grapes.

QLD 9 in a row.

I have zero confidence in NSW.

We have the players but fall well short in the coaching and selecting department, well short.

Yep, we definitely have the players capable of finally winning a series. But if we pick pieces of sh*t like Pearce yet again, we'll lose. Yet again. And add in the fact we haven't won a live game on qld's sh*theap since 2005.

NSW were well on top and Myles wanted to take one for the team and get Gallen sin binned.

Unfortunately, the refs didn't do their job and as a result the Origin fight is now a part of history.

Thank you Paul Gallen for ruining Origin.

Players who definitely NEED to be in the side:

Jennings
Cordner
Hayne
Gallen
Bird
Fifita

And that's it.

For the above players they need to do something NOT to be picked imo

Needs more Mitchell Pearce. He knows the pain of losing so he will be vital to the 2014 team

I'd agree with that, although wouldn't have Cordner in the 'must pick' just yet...not when there are so many other back rowers around.

Before last night's game I would have agreed with you. But he killed it in a badly beaten forward pack. I thought he really held his own against an incredibly formidable forward pack, he's young and will only improve. From all reports he is a VERY dedicated young bloke too.

But you're right, there are a pool of good, young backrowers.
