The big news out of those selections is Theeran Pearson coming into the Ball side. Last week he had a run with the firstgrade squad in a trial against local sides. I had a close look at him in the warm ups and he looks a lot like a Matty Bowen clone - aboriginal kid from North Queensland who looks like he has speed to burn and is a wirey little bloke. Blake Birch played half last week, but 5/8 seems to be his best position and his great kicking game and intelligent playmaking should really compliment a half who can make breaks and really needs shutting down at all times. It should be interesting to watch how they click.rambo1 said:Newcastle jnr rep teams for this weekend
