Wow!....Tigers SG Ball side beat Newcastel and the Roosters, yet get spanked by the Maggies (no disrespect to Wests there!)

Seems to be hard to read any form lines in this comp!

For those interested in scores from Belmore last night;

Harold Matt's - Western Sydney Academy 17 d. Canterbury 16

SG Ball - Canterbury 74 d. Western Sydney Academy 6

The big news out of those selections is Theeran Pearson coming into the Ball side. Last week he had a run with the firstgrade squad in a trial against local sides. I had a close look at him in the warm ups and he looks a lot like a Matty Bowen clone - aboriginal kid from North Queensland who looks like he has speed to burn and is a wirey little bloke. Blake Birch played half last week, but 5/8 seems to be his best position and his great kicking game and intelligent playmaking should really compliment a half who can make breaks and really needs shutting down at all times. It should be interesting to watch how they click.

Be Interested how Theeran (Paky) goes, he is from Gordonvale (near Cairns) played most of his footy there. He was a gun 15 year old and should have made the QLD schoolboy side. He has got a bit to learn but is a talented kid and runs the ball well.

Another graduate from the Cairns (FNQ) region worth watching is James Segeyaro playing hooker for Souths. He is a very talented kid probably the one from up here that I had teh biggest raps on.

Illawarra smacked Souths 38-12 in Harold Matts. Didnt stay for Ball. Disappointed to hear two Souths supporters yelling out to the Souths kids to "hit the ref". They were out played as simple as that, nothing to do with the ref today.

Does anyone have any idea of the HM/SG BALL scores from Parramatta Stadium today? (Manly vs Parra)

HM Para 54 def Manly 4 Para too strong

SGB Para 28 def Manly 22 this game see-sawed all night. Manly put up a great fight. Unlucky to lose

20's Para 30 def Gold Coast 14. Para's class told in the end
