Quick look at the stats shows Thurston has only had to make 5 tackles (made 3, missed 2). Why aren't we running at him every set?

The Cowboys were actually tight on the edges and got up quickly. Conversely there was heaps of room up the middle, but we just kept shifting where there was no space.

Not many sides would have beaten the cows tonight. They went there to win and had that look about them. I think we really need a bye to refresh and regroup.

We look to be playing busted for sure.

And any half decent team would not have lost like that or defended how we did, regardless of how good they were we were awful and that score line sums up how woeful our defense has been all year.

I think the most disappointing thing is the comments from BA at half time.

We were trash and he said we weren't.......we have certainly proven him wrong.......

I thought individually most of our players played well. But our teamwork was virtually nonexistent. You'd think we'd get better talk with both our halves on the field.

The Cowboys were brilliant though. Take nothing away from them. They would've beaten anyone last night, though maybe not by 30 points.

Watching Moses get carved up by the same play every week and conceding a try used to piss me off so much.

I told you guys he was a clueless liability defensively. Gutherson is just so much a better player in every aspect, it perplexes me why you guys signed Moses.

I genuinely hope you don't end up losing Gutho. No team deserves Moses. Well maybe Souths...

If he's only conceding one try each week he's doing better than most halves in the NRL.

I'm just glad having 2 kickers in the side meant we got good field position....

Norman wasn't exactly an NRL quality kicker tonight. He was atrocious.

I think Norman is good enough to do the playmaking on his own. He needs a good ball runner at 6.

No NRL team can play with only one kicker.

I and others had thought that the NRL picked it, but it was confirmed for me that the club preference was the Cowboys.

Apparently there were a few factors involved in the decision.

Well when we let the NRL make the decision they decided that playing our local derby against Penrith would be ideal for Darwin.

Play the warriors up there. They would crumble after 20 mins in that heat. Its not like we got a big crowd at homebush last week against them 9k wasn't it.

The Cowboys would of been the last team I would of played, Canberra, Penrith, the Warriors anyone but them. It was a home game for the Cows in conditions that suited them. Absolute Stupidity on the clubs part.

Really didn't think Davis was that bad. Probably should have caught the ball in the first half that probably leads to a try.

But overall was ok, still young with plenty of improvement in him.

Said like a genuine Parra supporter, anyone mediocre is ok, our forward pack ok, Norman ok today, Moses ok, our performance ok. And we are out of the 8, you ok with that?

If two points costs us a spot in the finals we probably weren't going to make much impact there anyway.
