Jake Ryals filled in at halfback for Wynnum during the season. I don't recall any relationship with the Bronx. Brown was down south last I heard. I'd imagine Bailey is still with Norths.

Just as scrappy as the first grade game - 36 errors all up.

Hard to really make too many judgements, by debutant Caleb Timu had a strong game. Scored a try, broke the line twice, broke 11 tackles, ran 106m with an average of 10.6m a run and threw an offload.

Not off to a great start, but they're a young side and it might take sometime for them to click.

I have not heard any hype about any of our under 20's players this year. Is there any talent in the squad??

That's probably because all the first grade prospects have been promoted to the Queensland Cup, which is great and something we should have stuck with, Norman in particular would have benefited but that's just water under the bridge.

As it stands, a lot of these players are just having their first taste of professional football. It's too soon to gauge whether or not they have the talent to make it at this level, but as it stands there are 9 junior reps. in the side who have either represented their state or country.

But if you want names, I reckon Cullen, Timu & Nikorima are worth checking out. From all reports they've been good in the trials and in Cullen and Nikorima's case they were stand outs in the junior rep. sides. Cullen in particular, was in the Australian Schoolboy side.
