Nz kiwis four nations squad 2010 - mindblowing

In my earlier post I wasn't too clear - SKD plays right centre for the Roosters, and I'm not sure who will play right centre for NZ as a result. Sau always plays left centre for the Knights, and has never played as good for us as he has played for the Kiwis.

Who would typically play on the right for you? Vuna?

With him gone it could be the switch he needs.

Right wing was McManus (but spent most of this year injured), but Aku played right wing and Vuna on the left wing for almost the entire year (and both played their best in those positions too).

MacDougall right centre as well

JWH is a good player as well but is still young and tends to give penalties away.

Matulino goes about his business in a consistent manner and is the type of player we need to take that 2nd or 3rd hit up.

JWH is fun to watch- not what we need to win. Love his attitude, not his work rate

People are being harsh on J W-H. Averaged the least mins out of the props selected but still makes more tackles then Moi Moi a game, and only averaged 4-5 less metres a game then the wrecking ball who average 10 more minutes of game time. And he will step that up in the 4 nations.

Love Roy Asotasi, but he was struggling to make the Rabbitohs on form

probably do him good to have the summer off I guess...

But JWH surprises me, as people have said here not sure he adds what we need from the bench, we're not short of impact type forwards - and if we wanted an impact prop on the bench I'd have thought McKendry adds more punch in his ball carrying...

Fan of Matulino too, but Packer is well ahead of him atm

And Moi Moi hasn't stayed at his 09 level either... and Rapira will be fresh but isn't a huge metre gainer either, at least not always...

Seems like JWH has become the most hated player in the game, unbelievable.

FPN should not be in the front row he played his best football in the back row.

I think he's a great player- love his attitude, love the way he plays the game, he's a great prospect for sure. I loved his impact last year. I just don't think he works with the composition of this team.

.

it might be because of the way he tries to pull off big hits on people who are on the ground and his general on field attitude. i didnt mind his agression for the last 4 nations and for most of this season, but the last couple of months of this season he has lost the plot a bit. he needs to find the right balance or he will be made to look stupid against the aussies. he has a massive future though if he gets it right!

Why does he have to learn respect? And how is he disrespectful, because he tries to pull off big hits on more experienced players?

JWH adds impact - butg not sure that the overt physicality is going to bother Aust - it's never really worked

Agree on FPN, to me we look very short on go forward... people are bagging the likes of Shillington and Scott, but the NZ squad looks short of props for mine...

JWH is the man!!!! He is one of those few players that can pull of an inspiring play that turns the momentum around to his teams favor. That is something that can't be trained. Has to be one of the first players picked in any team.
I remember reading sometime ago before he had pledged allegiance for the Kiwis that NSW selectors were chasing after him big time.

He played for the Kiwis after something like 6 NRL games, I can't imagine NSW selectors chasing after him "big time" before that.

Some peopleare still annoyed that he beat the crap out of petro last four nations... Including petro himself who cried about him not being shown enough respect when being dominated like a bitch

I don't care about this respect bullsh*t but JWH was terrible in the finals series this year.

He made bugger all impact and just gave away lots of penalties.

In the tigers game he got smashed by Gibbs and Ellis and than spent the next couple of sets trying to do a cheap shot in return (and failing miserably).

Can't believe someone like him would make the team before Manu (or a couple of others as well for that matter).
