Probable.I reckon from that squad they'll go:
1-Warner
2-Watson
3-Hughes
4-Smith
5-Clarke
6-Wade
7-Henriques
8-Siddle
9-Pattinson
10-Doherty
11-Lyon
gee they must hate SOK, not even in the squad
I dont get it
John Invalid said at the press conference that he's either going to play Maxwell with 3 quicks and Lyon or Henriques with 2 quicks and Lyon as well as Doherty, Steve Smith is a "Back-up Batsmen".
So judging by that statement the only 2 teams that we will be using in India are -
Team 1 ~
1) Cowan
2) Warner
3) Hughes
4) Clarke
5) Watson
6) Maxwell
7) Wade
8) Siddle
9) Pattinson
10) Starc
11) Lyon
Team 2 ~
1) Cowan
2) Warner
3) Hughes
4) Clarke
5) Watson
6) Henriques
7) Wade
8) Siddle
9) Pattinson
10) Doherty
11) Lyon
They'll bat Wade at 6.
I'll be shocked if Mitch Johnson isn't in the team - they love him and will have him because he might be able to score some runs at number 8. For some reason Siddle is seen as the 'heartbeat' of the team, so our 2 most dangerous bowlers (Pattinson/ Starc) will be resting in the hotels when Henriques plays...

It is a large squad and we felt as though we needed that for flexibility," John Inverarity, the national selector, said. "We're certainly looking for a right-arm finger-spinner and a left-arm finger-spinner. Xavier [Doherty] has been bowling very well lately. The four contenders for that position [were] Jon Holland, Michael Beer, Xavier Doherty and Stephen O'Keefe. Two of those [Holland and Beer] are injured and we preferred Xavier Doherty to Stephen O'Keefe."
That is the worst Australian test line-up since the 80s.

thats so p*ssweak.
Why did you prefer doherty over okeefe?!!
would it be that hard to explain that. What is it about Doherty?!
I do feel it had something to do with the conditions- Indian conditions you need to be a bit quicker through the air, see Panesar, and others that have done well recently. O'Keefe is a tad slow for these conditions.
