Official - Warriors sign Foran

BACK-UP halfback Liam Foran will head to Auckland at the end of the season after signing a three-year deal with the New Zealand Warriors.

Foran, who has struggled for opportunities behind Cooper Cronk, signed the deal on Thursday.

The talented Junior Kiwis halfback has played three NRL games this year.

Foran and paea are pretty evenly matched talent wise. But foran seems to have the better attitude

Hope Fien sticks around. Both Foran and Moon (who i've yet to see anything from that suggest's he's a playmaker, let alone promising him the standoff position) are both very new. Having an experienced head around like Fien's could be handy if either struggle next year.

Would have loved the more proven, finished article, signing at halfback. But to be fair to management they approached just about everyone going and got turned down flat!

Read in the paper today that Heremaia has been signed to a contract as well and that Witt and Rovelli's manager expects one of them to have to leave the club next season.
