Gorman hoists it on the last and Sandow goes flying through in pursuit but it is too deep and Sandow is a fraction off the landing.

Ualesi slips an offload to Sandow but we are standing very flat and the defence forces the ball free from Sandow's grasp.

Morgan does it all himself from halfway on this occasion. Lovely little in and away sees him in open space and he does the same to the fullback to go over to the right of the posts.

Newtown take a quick tap from a penalty as Bobbie Goulding makes some big metres. Alvaro hunts him down though and belts him from side on to force a mistake.

Rawalui pokes his head through half a gap and tries to get an offload away but the ball slips from his grasp and Newtwon get a scrum 5m into Wenty's half.

Wenty show some guts in their first proper defensive goal line set in some time and come away with a scrum.

Sandow kicks early in the set, gunning for a 40/20 but the kick is too straight and as it happens, too long to stay in the field of play and is just runs over the dead ball line.

Another strong set for Wenty that pins Newtown near their tryline. The fifth tackle kick was looking for Morgan and Sio but was didn't have enough hang time.

Newtown then cough the ball up to give Wenty another chance.

Sandow has come to the left, calling for the ball but Foran darts to the right to give Alvaro the ball who is held up over the line.

Wenty go down the right on the next play and Sandow fires a bullet to Sio who dives over in the corner.

The kicks just fades at the last moment to give Sandow his first failed attempt of the day.
