Good to see the Victorians on the panel today- Underwood,Caro Wilson and Big Nose Wheatley managed to spend three of the four minutes they allocate to Rugby League to criticise the Bottle throwing/ Graham incident from 9 days ago, considering the show wasnt on last week to afford them the opportunity.

Gerard Whateley is the classic example of someone who specialises in a few sports & then uses generalisations for others he doesn't really follow, but wants to make it sound as though he knows everything.

He'll mention specific events ( rather than going into detail ) from a sport he doesn't really follow like rugby league & speak with a lot of confidence to build his reputation as an authority on all sports. He'd have people helping him to pick out key facts to enhance his appearance on tv, but it's superficial coverage.

By the way Whateley is co-host of the Fox Footy 360 show. His bias is deliberate. As an ABC employee I regard his behaviour as unethical as he has a conflict of interest.
