This was when Johns was injuried (yet again) thus the ARU didn't want a bar of him. Johns was virtually signed and delivered to NSW all the ARU had to do was top up his contract.

What rubbish. Had he gone to union he would've played about 15 games a year for more money and in a successful team. The game is far less physical too.

If Johns stays fit Knights will make the 8 next year.

Since Johns returning from injury the Knights have won 2 out of 3 games.

It might have been harder to stamp himself as the best player in the world in union, but that's because he would've had some competition in Wilkinson, Carter, etc.

What about the rumours of Souths moving to CC?? I know they have denied it, but on the morning show on 9 this morning, they were talking about where Souths play next year being unclear. Despite signing a deal with Telstra stadium, there is still a massive push for them to shift to the Central Coast. That sort of story will get them Orford.
