A cynic would say Sydney MPs are trying to shore up there local support. It's not like Lundy will lose her 'seat'. I'm still not buying this bullshit about the investigation being a politically motivated to take the heat of labor.

Get off your knob you fascist. Youd be happy to see the NRL awash with PEDs as long as no one found out.

Bulldog - thats why the ADASA investigation covers multiple sports.

Spoke to a current NRL player the other day about this issue. He said that every club and code has at least a few people who are a little dodgy (not PEDs so much, but everything else), and everyone knows who does what to some extent, but everyone shuts up or else the finger is pointed back at their club.

He reckons that the fact Trent Elkin (with Sticky's blessing/urging) has done the dirty to the extent he has means Parramatta has a massive target on their back now. Although they aren't named in the report, expect all of their dirty laundry to be aired.... and apparently there is a bit.

So sounds like your club might be in the firing line too, Loudy.

Her own colleagues are turning on her.

As I said from the beginning , the whole things a farce. And two federal ministers are to blame. Quote:

Here we go, here we go, here we go. Cuckoo, Cuckoo.

The rednecks are at it again.

They suggest one media report, that doesn't suit their purpose (let's say: Irvine's comment that equine drugs were used), is bullshite; but, the next media report (of a govt caucus meeting), which happens to suit them, is gospel.

Please, some of us have a tad of brain that is still operational (unlike the redneck supporters):)

Well that's just fantastic if it's true. Sarcastic obviously.

So let's just get this straight. You believe the leak from the caucus meeting is a fake and the events in the article didn't really occur?

That's exactly what is happening.

Well if they were truly keen on shoring support every WS MP would vote for a change of leader, but considering some of them are determined to handcuff themselves to the sinking ship that is Julia Gillard that can't be their main priority (and I'm a Labor voter btw)

It's just common sense that Daryl Melham has dished out. No wonder everyone in Caucus is reacting to it as if he's walked around the table and flogged her, a lot of the people in Caucus wouldn't know common sense if it pulled down their pants and started working the intimates.

I didn't say that - I just indicated how the AJ (Gaylords) supporters style their argument to suit their purpose - one media report is full of bs, but the next is 100% accurate.

I'm willing to wait until the end of the investigation for the truth to be told (obviously some media reports have some accuracy to them, but who is to say how much).

I support the ASADA investigation into all sports and hope they are successfully in eliminating performance enhancing drugs from the Australian sports scene and the ACC investigation is also successful.

Caucus leaks like a sieve with a hole in the side of it. It's got a lot more chance of being true than false.

Whatever your view on this matter, surely no one thinks that "Hurry up and get this over with!" is going to be the solution?

At this stage, other than tabloid stories, the only real world action has been the suspension of a coach and the sacking of some no-name back room staff.

The only way this whole episode will, in some way, be helpful to the Govt is if by September of this year the investigation is completed and it is indeed "the darkest day in Australia sport". The Jones and Hadley supporters will be sat on their arses.

I'm not saying it will or will not happen; but it is the only "get out of jail" clause this mob have.

I dot believe the investigation is politically motivated at all.

The press conference and all the other shit yes.

This investigation has been going for a while, why announce it to all and sundry now?
