I dont doubt for a second if it goes down as reported that the players will sue the club and ultimately see the end of the Sharks. I hate seeing clubs go (wish the bears were back) so the whole situation is sad for their fans.

To lose so many big names to lengthy bans and the stigma of being labelled drug cheats will kill their attendance at games dead. They will have to rely on charity from the NRL or the NSW government to stay alive and does anyone really see that happening for a club that has existed for almost half a century and hasn't won a single premiership?

The NRL will go into a board room, around a large table, and weigh up whether it would be better to just tell the Sharks to hit the pasture and send the license over to WA.
