At the least I would expect wada to insist on any player involved having their rep caps expunged and any winners medals returned during the suspension period. We had players playing in RLWC, SOO and Anzac test involved. Every other athlete would have their medals, records etc removed and in some cases they have had to pay back winning money.

May i be so bold as to suggest that the record for state of origin 2014 should read NSW 2-1 with an asterisk. And in the footnotes be a notation similar to: were helped in halting the record 8 wins in a row by the man of the series, captain p.gallen, later admitting to taking a banned substance and would have been banned for all 3 games had he been found out earlier.

If the investigation was finished early November, which they tell us it was hence the back dated suspension, why has it taken 9 months to issue the show cause notices and offer a punishment? Why was this not done in November 2013? Simple question that the journos should be demanding an answer to.

I think that pretty much everybody is sick of this and is quite happy for it to go away.

Having previously managed Fraud Investigation Teams I am aghast at ASADAs incompetency in this matter.

This investigation has been a debacle and the sooner it fades into history the better.

i was happier when this seperate thread was in the interstate forum. i am not interested in anyone else at cronulla, wooden spooners deservedly, but their captain led nsw and won man of the series, while he should have been suspended, to stop an amazing SOO record of 8 straight.
