Ferguson lifting when opponents target him is your opinion.
From what I have seen, when he is targeted he gets personal and plays the man instead of the game to his and his teams detriment.
He seems to be all the talk with SOME people, however before the last couple of games, he has been nothing special.
Being the Raiders most dangerous player really doesn't mean a hell of a lot ?
Last week he strolled over for a couple of tries due to some of the most pathetic defence imaginable and that won't happen in SOO.

Tamou, Grant, Woods, Fifita, Mannah, Mason. 4 of them should get the gig. 35-45 mins each. Let them rip in, hit hard, and rotate them out. Maintain the intensity and freshness.

Keep Gallen in the middle as the smaller forward and offloading. Don't let him hog the hitups. Rotate him and Bird on the left with Watmough. Get Lewis on the right and rotate him with either Hoffman or T.Sims.

NSW will have quality in the 17. Use the interchange, rest the run on forwards. Hit 'em hard.

Why the name calling ? Putting the broken cheekbone aside, he has not set the world on fire including the latter part of last season and the beginning of this one and it is not all about size.

Inglis is the best player in the world and there simply isn't anyone nsw have with his ability.

Do you honestly believe that Merritt is a better player because if souths had Ferguson you guys would be absolute shoe ins for the comp.

I didn't realise that you were a Raiders fan, so that explains your keenness for wanting him in there. As I said, I don't believe size is the be all and end all, however Josh Morris and Idris would take a bit of running over.
Maybe NSW need to do what they did in the Meninga days and pick a specialist defender like they did with Chris Mortimer to look after Inglis.
