Premiership for sure.

Winning origin is good, but I would rather see the Cowboys win a GF anyday.

Half the time being up here in NQ, we may as well be on another planet when it comes to how the rest of the people QLD view us, not trying to sound like Bob Katter but you have a look things like football stadiums down in Brissy and the Gold Coast, hospitals, roads, we get treated like absolute shit up here, sometimes it makes me ashamed to be a QLD'er. Unless you have been up here and lived in NQ for a while it may be hard to understand what I am on about, put it this way I will always be a NQ'er before I am a QLD'er....... a real origin to me would be north vs south queensland!!!!! ;-)
Couldn't agree more, I'm a proud NQer.
A premiership would mean more to the people than an Origin win.

Heres my NQ origin side, criteria being that to qualify you have to be either born or raised in NQ or made their first grade debut for the Cowboys, :p

1. Billy Slater (Innisfail)
2. Justin O'neill (Tvl)
3. Dane Nielsen (Mackay)
4. Justin Hodges (Cairns)
5. Ash Graham (Atherton)
6. Scott Prince (Mt Isa) mind you he is playing like utter ass at the moment so he would be rubbish
7. Robert Lui (Tvl/Torres Strait)
8. Matt Scott (Richmond/cowboys)
9. Aaron Payne (Tvl)
10. Nate Myles (Cairns)
11. Sam Thaiday (Tvl)
12. Michael Luck (Cowboys)
13. Dallas Johnson (Atherton)

14. Jacob Lillyman (Richmond)
15. David Stagg (Tvl)
16. Dave Taylor (Yeppoon)
17. Matt Bowen (Hopevale)

This was very quickly done so don't shoot me, there's probably others out there that I haven't included. The wingers were probably the hardest to pick.............

Maybe it's because of the nature of our victory but I preferred winning the 2006 Origin series over the Grand Final. Everything about that victory was perfect while the GF will always be blurred because we received all the 50/50's.

After 5 years of loses and being a NSWelshman living in Qld, I would much rather an Origin win.

It means that much to me nowadays

Origin.

I love premierships, and they dont happen too often..but Origin man, its the pinnacle. I wouldnt care if the Broncos dont win a premiership for the next 50 years, as long as QLD keep winning.

A competition with 16 teams, over 30 weeks.

Or a three game best out of three.

Hmmmm.

Test footy is the pinnacle.

Premiership would be my answer.

Test football is just below City v Country.

Origin is the pinnacle but a premiership is the season long grind and they don't come often enough.

How far south?

By the way Pete, the 2006 victory should not be blurred at all. You beat a cheating team and deserved to be premiers.
