which has 5 days of cricket, as distinct from 75% of those 5 days being allocated for stoppages

pathetic comparison

You watch the game from 10am - 6pm for., give straight days, breaks every 3 minutes, for 5 straight days, perfect comparison if you ask me lol

Actually it's not a bad comparison. Cricket much like nfl is a play by play sport and not continuous. There is a stoppage after every ball as the bowler walks back to his mark, at the end of every over when they reset the field, when a wicket falls, drinks, third umpire decisions, waiting for teams to decide whether to review, when a batsmen decides someone moving a hundred meters away is putting him off. These things are part of the game though and don't bother me. Slow over rates shit me though and have been a problem for years I wish they would be tougher on that.

The best thing is you can get NFL on demand...
On a monday it may take 3 hrs for a game to be played but there is 7-8 games played at the same time.So you can switch between the good games.
To see 8 nrl games it would take you 16 hrs. Also the clock keeps ticking during all the stopages in NRL which makes it seem like a 80 min game. They probably only play 60 mins of footy if they stopped the clock for stopages.Like finding touch.Knock on-Scrums-Talking to reff etc....

In general thou its a great game too watch while not needing full attention.Although i am capable of watching a full game.Heck i often will watch 3 games on a monday. But the 8 games at once its the best.Always 2-3 that come down to the final drive.

yeah NRL probably has about 10 mins of "captain chats to ref" time these days ... probably 15-20 mins when Ennis/Lyon are playing

And you can go get a beer and a hotdog at the game without a) Missing too many plays, or b) queuing up for the entire half time break.

2nd NFL player this season that has torn his acl by celebrating after making a sack. American athletes carry on after one tackle.

Funny thing is, that player's team was down 25 points with about a minute and a half to go, but he still celebrated that sack like it won them the game.

I have Gamepass which gives you the option of watching the games condensed.
All the stoppages taken out - the game goes for about half an hour.
Only problem is you rarely get to see any replays.

Yeah ive watched condensed. It kind of take out the big plays thou.No build up etc...

A game of NFL is a bit like a movie. When you need to make a 3rd-10 to stay in game it builds up tension.

He did get injured in the 3rd quarter though, that wouldn't have helped.

He took a big hit.But he came back on with 1.52 to go in the 4th...Typical ROMO thou. When pressure is on he comes up with an intercept

He is prone to that bad interception in clutch situations, I can't argue with that.
he goes alright for a hot and cold player given he has 16 game winning drives in the 4th qtr or o/t since 2011 (according to yesterday's espn feed when i hoped he wouldn't get one because i took skins @ 4.75). i think dallas d has let him down in past years.
