The rhetoric from all sides is reaching its crescendo.

I don’t quite know, but I suppose if the west installed nukes in the Ukraine, it might have impacted the ussrs nuclear response to a first strike and thus upset the mad balance.

All that said, the ruskies have a considerable cyber warfare capability, a keen and very experienced secret service and one might have thought those could have been deployed strategically to achieve the same effect with much less loss of life etc.

I guess it doesn’t have the same optics or assertion of military might.
