So the final Ukky update for tonight as I crawl around a house with no lights is that if we avoid ww3, the Ruskies have taken a solid supply port and the 60 mile convoy should land in Kiev tomorrow.

Then once the Russian fire power finally arrives, I give the defenders about 2 or 3 days at best and the ruskies will round up people because they won’t know who is an enemy and who isn’t.

The old president of the Ukraine is on the standby to be re installed and probably no elections for a period.

About a million displaced civvies now, but when things settle, many will return home, but not all.

The Ukky president will probably be captured but spared as it’s bad optics.

Then the west has to decide whether it wants to continue with the nature and extent of the sanctions or not. Putin can still starve Europe of power and the Middle East of grain.

Then if we have nukes pointed at Europe from Ukky and Belorussia, that theoretically weakens the west, but the ruskies have these doomsday subs anyway.

I’m writing up the news, but whatever I say about the ukkies, I think the Ruskies should stop the bullshit firing right now. Let the humanitarian aid come through etc.

They can just wait and a lot of people will leave or surrender. There’s no need to put the shoulder into the tackle or third man.

Some of the lads views on LU here earlier in the week were echoed by the South Africans delegates today at the UN about the need for cool heads and talking.

They don’t think yelling at Putin will work either. It might make everyone yelling feel better but it just gives him more resolve.

At what point do we in the west think he will say:

“ Um ah, big mistake, I’m sorry, my bad”?

The SA delegate represents 60 million souls, and arrives at the same conclusion as one of us, living in a flooded garage in Greystanes getting aroused watching people watch others take out wheelie bins.
