You're right, they could have started a legislation (not Constitutional) Voice of some sort, and used it and it's experience as a model for a potentially successful Referendum down the track.Yep, that’s what I would have done regardless of the recommendations from the Uluṟu statement and explained that it is the best chance of getting what they want as an end goal. Although I also would have instigated a voice through legislation and provided evidence of its effectiveness and value before going to that referendum down the track.

But my point remains that Jacinta Price isn't yet bringing any ideas to the table about betterment for Indigenous People... including from her history presiding over the decline of Alice Springs... other than saying No to other (Indigenous) people's ideas.
