I bought tickets for Mrs. Feej and my DIL for their respective birthdays, and they said it was great. I didn't go, because I'm one of those 'too cool for school' musos, but it sounded like I might have enjoyed it.He sure ain’t dead but Ed Sheeran is tops. All you hard rockers too cool to admit it can get f**ked.
Went last night with the 3 kids and misso. That last comma made me think that Ry Cooder was dead.Gary Rossington, the last remaining original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, has died at age 76.
A couple of other significant losses in the past few days, jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter, best known for his work with Miles Davis and later Weather Report, and David Lindley, multi instrumentalist who played a lot with Jackson Browne, and Ry Cooder.
Ry is still around, he recently did an album with his old mate Taj Mahal. That last comma made me think that Ry Cooder was dead.
