Lasse Welland main guitarist for ABBA died played for the group in the 70s .Of cancer.
Didn't pay any attention to the guitar work in ABBA , Agnetha seemed to have all the right moves.
From that moment on I was a booty man.
ABBA maybe the greatest band of all time, they would be in the debate

Yeah they'd be well and truly up there. In terms of hits, melodies, lyrics, world wide popularity covering all age groups ,IMO they'd be getting close to the Beatles.
My 20th Century bands Beatles, ABBA, Fleetwood Mac,Rolling Stones.

I always thought that Norman Gunston did better versions of ABBA hits than ABBA themselves.

I will never forget the sight of my dear mother running out into the loungeroom and screaming abuse at Norm on the TV when he did his ABBA songs.

I did like ABBA a lot with the volume right down. HMMMMMM those little white mini skirts.

I was one of those who ran out and bought Norman's Salute to Abba single when it came out. I found Abba far too slick and syrupy for my liking.

Frenzy.

I was looking at bands not solo artists and overall long term melodious impact .And I only supplied 5.Covering impact on all age groups. I'd agree with Queen in my top 10,I'd have Chicago, the Eagles and The Beach Boys. Not based on albums sold.
I didn't have enough ink for 50 Frenzy.
