For those old chumps (me)who lived some time in the Shire and know the story behind the book and movie Puberty Blues.It's about their teenage years in the Shire with the surfing generation at Cronulla in the 70s written by two girls, Kathy Lette and Gabrielle Carey.
Gabrielle Carey just read she has died age 64.

Looks like it is Gabrielle Carey.

I listened to the Big Sports Breakfast this morning and the voice of excitement guy that does the news definitely said it was Kathy Lette. Seems like they have gotten a bit confused.
