You say that but is anti-siphoning going to stop being ai thing? I've been watching footy on Foxtel all year then on grand final day I had to f**k around sorting out the channel nine app and login for my Telstra TV box because Fox weren't showing the game.
Just like the good old days

Have you ever bought or rented a video that wasn’t quite right?

Yeah, I know. I guess I feel like it’s paving the way for that sort of option in the future.

25 year of low balling and criticism from their broadcasting partner, I bet rugby are glad to be rid of them.

Lol

There's plenty of houses in Bath or Toulouse available. Go and live there and soak up all the rugby good vibes you want there....

Just got a deal through Telstra. Kayo $5 per month for 12 months. Check it out. $20 per month saving.

Yes, that is the new deal, however they have taken away the NRL Live free subscription option for Telstra customers (which includes unlimited data while streaming) so if you want to stream you now have 2 options 1) pay $5 a month and use your own data OR 2) have a Foxtel subscription and stream through Foxtel Go and use your own data.

A lot of people are pissed, understandably.

I only ever watch on TV or live so it doesn't effect me. I also have unlimited data at home so I'm sorted. Im one of the lucky ones I guess.

$5 per month for 32 NRL games plus extras. Sensational.
So now I've got an email with the same offer, from Telstra. I don't need to activate it until May, so there's time to use my other offer (3 months free) and then roll into the $5 per month. However I feel like I'd possibly be carrying on like too much of a smart merkin, and they'd find a way to block the second (better) deal, forcing me to pay full price after three months. There might be ways around it but can I even be f**ked?

So with Stan Sport now up and running, do we expect that Nine Entertainment will go all out to be the exclusive FTA and streaming NRL provider ?
