IT IS BIG DANCE DAY ... CARN THE MIGHTY EMU'S ... Off to the Big GF today to cheer on the Emu's in A Grade and the Parky Girls in their respective Grand Finals.

Both sides finished the season as Minor Premiers. The A Grade can make club history if they win as it will be the first time EP has won the A Grade Rockhampton Rugby League Competition. (hope it is 2016 revisited)

I'm excited. I might have to lock in the hubs on me zimmer frame.

he has to be suspended for the Manly game. That’s one game possibly two but ww will see the proper fix come in and he gets a 3000 fine.
I reckon Manlynwill stop them anyway as Manly will be pissed off.

Speaking of other games you heathens.

The ladder topping Mighty Emus won again today in a very tight and entertaining match against North Rocky. The result of the win secured Emu Park winning the 2024 Minor Premiership for the first ever time.

Plus they had a little presentation for the junior sides before the Ressies and also gave a few awards and acknowledgements to other members and unworthy long time supporters. The poor old whinging back in my day pensioner was given Life Membership of the Club. It was a bit of a surprise.

I told some of them that we recently handed out a Life Membership to an old original member of the Local Art Gallery and the poor bugger died a week later.

The ones I told just smiled.

May as well put a Granny Smith on the Canterbury Panthers now. I actually think the NRL will do anything to end a dynasty. They'd love to see the new Panthers succeed the Pink Panthers

Narhh Chewie they lost one game against Rocky Brothers. They played Bros two weeks ago and won. Straight into the GF now against the foe... far can Yeppoon.

The side that beat us in last years big one with a try right on the death in extra time. So it is Revenge time.

I'm taking me mouth guard just in case there is a scuffle or three on the sideline.

Hope the team bus doesn't break down.
