Patience, Warner. f**king patience!!!!

You knew soon as he tried to smash Ali's first 3 balls that this would happen.

Honestly do they feel sorry for the bloke??? Thats 4 top order wickets for a part time bowler in just 3 innings.

Serve the Poms right for producing slow boring lifeless wickets, now they have to bat last on this and with scoreboard pressure we are in the box seat. I'be looking to bat till just after tea hopefully with us around the 600 mark.

The groundsman was saying he didn't have enough time to prepare the pitch properly and he needed one more day as it had been raining.

I didn't watch the whole days play, but the ball was swinging around a fair bit in the first session, and even after the lunch break.

Easier to blame the pitch than to suggest that Anderson was on the pads, Wood was too short (lol), and Smith and Rogers played really well.

agree

I actually thought we'd lose a few wickets in the first session, was nipping around

They did drop Smith early, and Root should have got Warner early as well

Anderson and Wood were dreadfull

Jimmy was very ordinary last night, Broad was their only bowler who looked threatening after the first hour.

Was anyone flicking between the golf at St Andrews last night while the cricket was on? Man, I think I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Tiger Woods. First hole, second shot to what is a benign hole, he comes up well short and in the drink. Opens with a bogey, backs it up with a bogey at the second.... He was putting from spots well off the green, like he's lost all confidence in his short game and touch. Oosthuizen and Day were in his group and playing great, Woods was lurching from bogey's to scrambling pars all day - he did well to only be 4 over after 18... he's so far away from where he used to be I can't see a way back for him. He's mentally given up. Heard him say the other day that golf isn't all that important and his focus is running around for his kids.

Any sports psychologist will tell you that if you talk negative you perform negative.
