Anyone read the telegraph on Friday

There is a new reality show later in the year involving 15 amateur RL players, who get eliminated one by one every week (sorta like the apprentice and donad trump), the last one standing wins a league contract. Gonna be filmed around Oct to December this year

The coach doing the firing? Ricky Stuart :)

I am much happier now. Those who said we are back to how we were last year can give themselves an uppercut, then take a look around - Canberra got wholloped, Melbourne lost again, Panthers can't win 2 in a row.

We aren't doing too bad...

For mine RS was the worst person associated with our great club during my 50 odd years of being an Eels fan. This piece of garbage lied to every person involved with our club. He peddled his deceit like a carnival side show spruker. The most annoying aspect is that most were so desperate for success that we believed his constant lies. I always liked the way Canberra played their football but its difficult to enjoy them now days.
I watched yesterdays Canberra at the club and a bloke in a Raiders jumper sat in front of me. When I tried to offer sympathy as the score blew out he refused to believe the coach in any way should even share some responsibility. Its this hypnosis RS seems to have over some and the media that really gets to me. Possibly Raiders fans are as desperate as we were for success. Whats the medias excuse.

I don't think it would have been much different. I doubt very much that we would have gone better under Stuart but I don't think we would have gone that much worse. I'm still glad he's gone though and I haven't deathriden a club so much since the Storm. I used to like Raiders but now I have the same contempt for them as I have for the Storm, Dogs and Manly Seagulls.

He blames a very poor training season on Wednesday and did nothing about it cause "he wanted to keep a happy camp" LOL

I remember my under 15s coach ripping into us once for dropping the ball a bit during an afternoon session in the pooring rain.
