You mean:

My dear Peter,

Surprisingly enough, it was delightful. My parents said that it was one of my better meetings.

You do realize that you find my posts both entertaining and composed of in depth knowledge.

Furthermore, they keep you all happy and engaged.

Beside the fact that everyone corrects my grammar on 90% of my posts, if I manage to score 80% for english in my HSC, I'll thank you all!

Yours,
Lewis Cook

dw mate, Pete always corrects my spelling and funnly enough I got 82 in advanced english and a UAI over 95. Sometimes grammer and spelling isn't the be-all end-all. Pete is just an english teacher and has nothing better to do with his time, sitting in a nursing home 24/7 can be boring

Come on - be honest.. If the club signed Greg Bird or Gallen most parra supporters would be over the moon.

I dont rate them as good people but they can play football.

Gallen or Watmough I could handle, if they tempered their ways a bit; but if Bird signed with Parramatta, I would seriously start following soccer.

Tim Smith is a great player and we need a halfback. We would be crazy to not try and get him back. It is a fact that we were a far better side with Tim Smith than without him.

A halves combo of K Keating and Tim Smith would be awesome.

That`s much, much better, Lewis. You`re really starting to get the hang of this English thing. There`ll be a part for you in Pygmalion if you keep on like this. :)

T.Smith behind a dominating pack would be awesome.

Do we have a dominating pack?

Daily telegraph article without quotes and the words "The Daily Telegraph Can Reveal" is worth rubbish.

The DT can reveal Cayless is set to be axed...

Just 3 weeks ago they had an article with quotes whereby Price backed the return, I thnk the telly has taken a stab in the dark here

tbh,
i really think that price saying he would welcome him back definitly means something...
he wouldn't say it if the others in charge disagreed, but at the end of the day it's up to DA.
it's funny how in the articles it says parra aren't interested in him, and yet they have no quotes from DA or anyother persons from the club.
hopefully in the coming days we will get a better look where the club is at regards tim smith, (with direct quotes!).

Yes pathetic. . .
but i think it's a bit harsh that you say it's a blessing the day he finally left.
yes he had his fair share of off field misdemeanor, but coming down from the far northern new south wales (if im not mistaken?) to play for a sydney club in the limelight is a tough job for anyone, especially someone of his mental state.

i for one am dissapointed that he will most probably not join our club again, but am happy for the fact his health is improving (although still a long road ahead) and he is able to partake in the sport he loves!

LOL...yeah, we were "blessed" with a main playmaker named Brett Finch. "Blessed" with a non existent short kicking game. "Blessed" with terrible service to our outside backs. "Blessed" with a long kicking game that found the opposition backs on the full 9 times out of ten. "Blessed" with fifth tackle options that wouldn't have worried an under 12s side....boy, we sure were blessed when Smith left, gawd I'm glad he did

Sorry Basel blessed was probably the wrong word. But it sure was a great day that little maggott left. More trouble than talent, he reminds me of Todd Carney........ 1 good game followed by 15 bad ones. Not to mention
his love of getting pissed and making a dick of himself every second week.

Trust me, Smith isn't a patch on Carney's level of dick headed-ness. The man has a problem that can be fixed, Carney is just a plain and simple merkin.

I also vehemently disagree with your assertion that he played one good game in 16...that's just plain wrong. Fact is he was probably our best attacking 7 of this decade, at least, and even his worst games were better than what we got from Brett Finch (for example). He's the kind of player who is always dangerous...mind you, I don't believe he should come back at the moment, but I also don't believe he deserves the rubbish he cops even still

LOL.
im guessing your one of them fellas whose the "john citizen" on the piss.
seriously everyone make fools of themselves on the beers.
remember tim smith never did anything against the law! he only did what every other young man does, get pissed, get stupid! but he was in the limelight and the media just batted him down by digging every detail of nights out he has had.
