Anyone see Tito lose it bit of a hot head for a winger lol
Tito had a Barry Crocker today. That's probably the worst game I've ever seen him play.

If Galvin was in the team W/T maybe win today. Makes me appreciate how our suits and coaches dealt with players who chose to go elsewhere.

It my humble opinion it was a blueprint of moving on respectively.

Says a lot about the inner workings and culture of the club too.

Yes we were all disappointed when players like Kiks, Api and even Luai chose to chase money and move on, whilst showing respect for their decision.

Never at any time was the soap opera drama we see some clubs in. W/T and Manly the two that come to mind.

The six again exists because of Wobbo, Bellamy and Flanno.

The 'defensive' games the top teams played from 2013 through 2019 were just goal line penalty fests.

The NRL tried to crack down on it in 2018 in a Sharks/Storm game and it did not go well.

Exactly this. 2013 finals week one Manly Vs Roosters game many say is one of the greatest ever with 4 - 0 scoreline had 18 penalties. 13 for the Roosters many in their own 20 as a means of removing momentum entirely from manly's attack.

The Panthers grinding game plan would become completely irrelevant As the defence is constantly resting, pressure is relieved with a penalty goal or error etc.

I dont agree with the way Luai and Turuva reacted to and treated Galvin. Was pretty immature of them snd could cause them legal issues.

But Luai was a rare case of a player with clear talent knocking back immediate opportunities and money to have a chance himself. In this day and age. What he did waiting behind Maloney and fighting Burton for a spot is so rare. Wish more guys came through like he did. Waiting for an opportunity and not leaving for whats easy.

The Tigers implosion continues, with 2 more players coming out about being mistreated..

Is this a generational thing?
No. It's a Tigers thing. Plenty of humble, hard-working kids coming through our system (and others) prove it's not some vague generational entitlement thing.

Cmon guys, just like we can acknowledge that 4 premierships on the trot means were doing something right, spoon after spoon suggests the Tigers are doing something very wrong. It's compounded by the cult of personality built up around Benji and his problems with man management and the culture hes fostered within the group. The Galvin issue is a direct consequence of this.

They need a Gus style cleanout, to a greater degree than we did in the late 00s.

Yes it’s why kids get to first grade before there ready clubs are scared to lose them

Yes kids these days want maximum gain for as little effort and accountability as possible. I've seen it at work far too many times.
